The U.S. Geological Survey plans to solicit offerors for Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). This requirement will be under Solicitation number 140G0223R0019. The Government intends to award a single contract to compete under NAICS code 541511 with a Small Business Size Standard $34 M for an upcoming requirement for USGS National Wildlife Health Center, 6006 Schroeder Road, Madison WI 53711 Laboratory Information Management System The solicitation is estimated to be issued on or about August 15, 2023 with proposals due tentatively on August 30, 2023. The RFP will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as SAM.gov, https://sam.gov/content/home and will establish a firm proposal due date/time. If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. BE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE PRE-SOLICITATION, SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. The solicitation notice and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at https://sam.gov/ and at no charge. No paper copies will be issued. SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The U.S. Geological Survey is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of any small business firms eligible to compete under NAICS code 541511(Custom Computer Programming Services), with a small business size standard of 34 Mil. The requirement is for a Commercial Off the Shelf Laboratory (COTS) Information Management System (LIMS). The USGS is including a draft performance work statement to further define the Government’s needs. The solution needs to include COTS software and the capability to integrate it with the existing system. Please complete the check boxes on page 25 – 112. Please include any information you deem necessary for the fulfillment of the upcoming RFQ. Email your responses to cjcarter@usgs.gov. Responses to this announcement are requested from (1) SBA certified Small Business HubZone firms; (2) Small Business firms certified by a Small Business Administration (SBA) district or regional office for participation in the 8(a) program; (3) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small Business firms; (4) Small Businesses.
