NAICS Code: 334516 NAICS Size Standard: 1,000 Subject: Sources Sought for DanioVision Video Tracking System Sources Sought Closing Response Date: May 4, 2023 at 5 PM CD Contact Point: Kimberly Schneider, krschneider@usgs.gov Objective: To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed below. Note that the specific requirements are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation. The Columbia Environmental Research Center (CERC) has a requirement for one (1) DanioVision larval fish behavioral recording system with the additional modules for an existing EthoVision XT license. The DanioVision Observation Chamber includes: a)An infrared (IR) backlit plate holder for multi-well plates, petri dishes, and other containers; b) GigE digital IR-sensitive camera for recording up to 60 frames per second. Zebrafish tracking at higher frame rate is possible off-line; c)Built-in stimuli such as light, sound and acoustic stimulus device that can be controlled by EthoVision® XT; d) The Temperature Control Unit used to either cool or heat the water (from 15°C to 40°C) to accurately set the conditions of your experiment. These specifications are required to investigate maladaptive behavioral changes in response to stimuli following contaminant exposures. In addition, the temperature control unit allows for testing both cold and warm water species that require water temperatures outside of the room temperature range. Interested firms shall submit (1) NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER OF THE FIRM (including UEI (Unique Entity Identifier); (2) a CAPABILITY STATEMENT including (a) RECENT (within the last three fiscal years) RELEVANT (similar projects to this requirement) performance history (identify the name of the owner and their point(s) of contact with telephone and fax numbers, e-mail addresses; and (b) in what capacity (e.g., prime, subcontractor etc.) they performed the work; and (3) their SIZE STATUS. Your company must have a UEI number and be registered on-line at the System for Award Management (SAM). You will also be required to provide your small business status information either via the On-line Representations and Certifications also located at the SAM.gov website before an award to your company can be made. Your on-line registration will cover any/all of your offers to the Federal Government, and only needs updated annually.
