Synopsis: The overall objective of this proposed commercial services IDIQ Contract is to provide Laboratory Information Management Service (LIMS) implementation required by the U.S. Geological Survey¿s Water Mission Area. The USGS WMA is undertaking a project to implement a Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) that supports data and workflows from multiple analytical laboratories (both production and research) within the WMA. The new LIMS solution will be built to a supplant the legacy LIMS system that no longer meets the needs of WMA. The new LIMS solution will need to integrate with other WMA enterprise applications or have its own processes, including: - Importing analytical service requests from the field - Disseminating LIMS data to other enterprise data systems like the National Water Information System - Integrating with reference lists that curate common inputs - Financial management systems for cost estimation of services, materials, and billing status Primary Product/Service Code: 7H20 Information Technology (IT) and Telecom -Platform Products: Databse, Mainframe, Middleware (Hardware, Perpetual License Software) NAICS: 541511 Custom Computer Programming Service Solicitation Type: This requirement is being offered for full and open competition Estimated time frame of solicitation release: Week of January 9, 2023.
