Items shall be inventoried upon pick-up and the same amount shall be returned. If any items are damaged or destroyed, the contractor shall replace with a similar item, in the event of a mite or bed bug infestation the vendor shall remedy the problem upon discovery. A second occurrence of infestation, will result in the contract being terminated for the convenience of the government. ***Signed copies of amendment two and the original solicitation must be submitted with your proposal. Due to an error amendment one is not showing up as a form that can be signed.*** The purpose of this amendment one is to extend the solicitation to 12/06/2021. LAUNDRY SERVICES FOR THE NATIONAL WILDLIFE HEALTHCARE CENTER (NWHC) 6006 Schroeder Road, Madison, WI 53711. The National Wildlife Health Center (NWHC) requires towels and garments that include, but not limited to, lab coats, smocks, scrubs and coveralls used in the execution of its mission, to be laundered on a weekly basis. Pre-Solicitation Notice The United States Geological Survey (USGS) hereby provides the following Pre-solicitation Notice in respect of the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for: LAUNDRY SERVICES FOR THE NATIONAL WILDLIFE HEALTHCARE CENTER (NWHC) 6006 Schroeder Road, Madison, WI 53711. The National Wildlife Health Center (NWHC) requires towels and garments that include, but not limited to, lab coats, smocks, scrubs and coveralls used in the execution of its mission, to be laundered on a weekly basis. Items to be laundered will be autoclaved by NWHC personnel and made available for pick-up each Tuesday at National Wildlife Health Center, 6006 Schroeder Road, Madison, WI 53711. Necropsy/diagnostic laboratory laundry items for pick-up will be located at the Milton Friend Building (MFB) North entrance. The Tight Isolation/Animal Isolation Wing (TIB/AIW) laundry items for pick-up will be located at the TIB South entrance. Items are to be laundered and returned to these same locations at NWHC on the following Friday (three-day return). If a holiday prohibits delivery, delivery shall be made on the next working day. Items shall be inventoried upon pick-up and the same amount shall be returned. The Government anticipates issuing a request for proposal in the near future.
