The purposed of this amendment is to to determine the interest and capability of any firm eligible to compete under NAICS code 541511 with a Small Business Size Standard $30M for an upcoming requirement. To be eligible for this requirement the firm will have to demonstrate the capability to perform the work IAW the Performance Work Statement. The USGS is seeking information from industry to assist with providing information for the potential new requirement under NAICS 541511. The requirement is for a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The USGS is including a draft performance work statement for to further define the Government¿s needs. Included below is a list of questions for consideration. 1. What Labor categories would industry anticipate would be included in an IDIQ type contract? 2. What other items would industry recommend for this project? 3. What type of software/hardware would industry recommend? 4. Please provide copies of previous IDIQ and FFP contracts awarded to the Government including the price list. 5. What would a firm fixed priced, base plus 4 options years look like? Please include any information you deem necessary for the fulfillment of the upcoming RFQ. Email your responses to cjcarter@usgs.gov.
