SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The U.S. Geological Survey is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of any firm eligible to compete under NAICS code 237120 Oil and Gas Pipeline and Related Structures Construction 39.5 Million for an upcoming requirement to provide Removal and Replacement of Underground fuel storage tanks in Madison, Wisconsin THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. ALL COST ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION AS REQUESTED BY THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR. Submission is voluntary. The USGS has two 5,000 gallon, double-walled underground storage tanks that provide critical power for laboratory air handlers, freezers, and refrigerators during AC power outages. The tanks have reached the end of their life span and need to be replaced. The project will remove and dispose of any fuel in the existing tanks, removal and disposal of the existing tanks, testing and remediation of the soil around the existing tanks, installing new tanks, and backfilling the space around the tanks. USGS Interested firms shall submit (1) NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER OF THE FIRM (including DUNS NUMBER); (2) a CAPABILITY STATEMENT including (a) RECENT (within the last three fiscal years) RELEVANT (similar projects to this requirement) performance history (identify the name of the owner and their point(s) of contact with telephone and fax numbers, e-mail addresses; and (b) in what capacity (e.g., prime, subcontractor etc.) they perform
