The United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Joint Administrative Operations (JAO), intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis justified IAW FAR 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements; Action is for Red Oak Under Planting at Chickasaw NWR. This is a non-personnel services contract to provide underplanting of 106,000 seedlings on Chickasaw NWR in January ¿ February 2024. One-year-old, bare root, Nuttall and Cherry Bark oak seedlings will be procured and under planted by hand on approximatley 350 acres of mature bottomland hardwood forest. Approxiamately 302.5 seedling per acre planted on a 12¿x 12¿ spacing. The NAICS code for this procurement action is 115310, Support Activities For Forestry. Any firms believing that they can provide this level of service with appropriate products may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Officer no later than 14 days after the date of publication of this notice.
