The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge located in Folkston GA has a requirement for the conceptual design, final design, fabrication and installation of a world-class, state of the art exhibit display for their new visitor center that is currently in design phase. The exhibits are to be designed for the following spaces: 1. 2,080 square-feet exhibit hall 2. 178 square-feet display area 3. 823 square-feet meeting room/multipurpose room 4. Hallway leading out the back door of Visitor Center Project overall messages and themes for the final conceptual design of this project shall include exhibits, displays, furnishings, and interior/exterior signs and panels that interpret the cultural history and natural resource management of the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge for the entrance and exhibit area, the multipurpose room, and the display area. The Visitor Center exhibits should be engaging, interactive, and visually appealing to a wide range of audiences, including being accessible to people with visual and hearing impairment. Additionally, the mission of the National Wildlife Refuge System should be blended throughout ALL of the exhibits, highlighting the important work that is accomplished by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service through the conservation of these lands for future generations of Americans.
