The U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) intends to issue a solicitation in March 2022 for contract services to supply and install vegetative plants on remote North Breton Island, Breton National Wildlife Refuge, Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. The services include planting thousands of native plants (four designated species) in three designated planting areas consisting of approximately 282 acres located on this remote island accessible only by boat beginning Spring 2022 and resuming Fall 2022. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 115112, Soil Preparation, Planting, and Cultivating. USFWS intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price contract from this solicitation. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept proposals, as a result of this synopsis. This is not a request for proposals, a promise to issue a request for proposals, or a promise by the Government to pay for information received in response to this synopsis or any subsequent synopsis.
