This is a Sources Sought Notice for the purposes of conducting market research and obtaining industry information ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, QUOTATION, OR BID, NOR A SYNOPSIS OF A PROPOSED ACTION UNDER FAR SUBPART 5.2. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated for providing information in response to this synopsis or on any follow up information. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) will use information obtained through this synopsis as well as other market research to develop an acquisition strategy. The USFWS is in need of a replacement Combination Tender Style Boat/ OSHA Certified Suspended Personnel Platform. The boat must be designed and certified by the appropriate licensed professionals as a suspended personnel lifting platform and cargo lifting device meeting all OSHA requirements for a general industry and construction industry over water, marine setting, and any other applicable regulations such as ANSI and ASME. See attached specifications for additional requirements. Interested firms shall document their capability by providing ¿a sketch/drawing of (1) one - (3) three examples of combination tender style boats/ OSHA Certified suspended personnel platforms that meet or exceed the attached specifications. In addition, firms shall provide a narrative that is no more than one page in length detailing their approach to executing this build. In addition firms shall provide their DUNS number and business type (i.e. Large Business, Small Business, (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), 8(a) Program or other). All responses to this notice shall be submitted to nicholas_koston@fws.gov no later than 08/25/2020 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.
