This is a request for information in identifying potential sources that can provide Lab Manager services for the Hydrocarbon Chemistry Test Lab at the Ohmsett Facility in Leonardo, New Jersey. It is anticipated these services would include one position what will range from 20 to 32 hours a week and will require on site performance (remote work is not available). Interested parties are requested to submit a 2-page response of their current capabilities to support such a requirement and any concerns that the Government should consider. Nearby universities are highly encouraged to submit a response if interested. Additional information about the facility can be found out at https://ohmsett.bsee.gov/ It is also important to note that any individual(s) fulfilling these services must be US citizens and may be subject to a background check. In your response, please provide the following information on the cover page (cover page is not included in the 2-page limit response): 1) Company Name. 2) Address. 3) Unique Entity ID (UEI) from SAM.gov. 4) Business Size: Small, HUBZone, Woman Owned, SDB, Other than Small, etc... Please submit a response to william.rilee@bsee.gov before the listed response date and time. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The information will be used in conducting market research to identify qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources in support of the Government's requirements. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) and this is NOT a Request for Quote(RFQ). It is not to be construed as a formal solicitation or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Any information provided to the Government and/or solution demonstration/evaluation is strictly voluntary and will be provided at no cost to the Government. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information, solution demonstration/evaluation or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party's expense. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3 - Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (Oct 1997):(a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.(b) Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only.
