F--EMERGENCY - K-9 Support Services Invasive Species Protection
The government is conducting market research via a sources sought notice to identify firms capable of providing K-9 support services for invasive species protection in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). This emergency response supports recovery operations after Super Typhoons Sinlaku and Bavi, focusing on preventing the spread of brown tree snakes, Little Fire Ants, and Coconut Rhinoceros Beetles. The work will occur in CNMI under austere conditions with limited utilities, and interested firms must submit a capability statement covering qualifications, dog training, and availability. Responses will help the government decide on a procurement strategy, and this notice is not a request for quote. The government encourages firms to also submit questions and pricing insights to assist with planning.
