Contract Information The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Northwest Regional Office, intends to solicit/award a firm fixed price contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Responses to this Sources Sought announcement will be used by the Government to make, if appropriate, an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) set-aside or Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) acquisition strategy decision. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is required to give priority to ISBEE and IEE concerns if there should be enough firms available to compete under a set aside. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information. NO FORMAL SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. The official Synopsis citing this solicitation number may be issued on SAM.gov, in the May 2023 timeframe. There may be short timelines for advertising and for the work to be completed. This Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of the interest, capabilities, and qualifications of the Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) and Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) members of the industry who are highly encouraged to respond. 3. Requirements Description The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Warm Springs Agency, has a requirement for the Asbestos Abatement of approximately 90 SF of popcorn ceiling texture and cleanup of the contaminated area at the Warm Springs Agency Firehouse in Warm Springs, Oregon. To create a wall, from floor to ceiling, for staff to remove a pump from the ACM Ceiling Pump Room. The NAICS is 562910 Remediation Services. 4. Submission Instructions Responses to this Sources Sought notice must be submitted electronically (via email) SUBJECT: Warm Springs Asbestos Abatement. Please send to Brian Roberts, Contract Specialist, at brian.roberts@bia.gov in either Microsoft Word or Adobe Portable Document Format by 12:00 pm Pacific Standard Time Tuesday, 2 May 2023. All responses must be received by the specified time and due date to be considered. All successfully submitted responses will receive an acknowledgement by return email. ANY RESPONSES RECEIVED AFTER THE SPECIFIED DATE AND TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. A Firm's response to this Sources Sought shall be limited to five (5) pages and should include the following information: a. Firm's name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address and UEI number. b. Firm's small business category and Business Size. c. Provide a capability statement and/or relevant information on the Firm's Experience/Capabilities as it pertains to the Sources Sought. 5. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or to provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.
