The Department of Interior (DOI) Interior Business Center (IBC) intends to extend task order D14PD01195 for an additional six months. The six-month extension was not evaluated at time of award; therefore, an LSJ has been approved. The six-month extension is being justified on the basis of FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C) - the order must be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract.
