The National Park Service (NPS) will issue a Prospectus soliciting proposals for the award of a Concession Contract to provide Marina Services to include Slip Rentals, Sailing Instruction, and Boat Rentals at Belle Haven Marina located in George Washington Memorial Parkway. The Prospectus explains the business opportunity and the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the Concession Contract. The Service has determined that the existing Concessioner is not a Preferred Offeror for the Draft Contract pursuant to the terms of 36 C.F.R. Part 51. The Service will host a site visit for parties interested in bidding on this opportunity on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. The site visit will provide an overview of the concession operation, along with a tour of the Concession Facilities associated with the Draft Contract. Attendance requires a mandatory RSVP to receive the specific information on when and where to meet for the site visit. There will be a limit of three people per interested party. Anyone desiring to attend the site visit must send an email to NCR Chief of Business Services, Chad Tinney, at chad_tinney@nps.gov no later than Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 4:00 pm EST. All RSVP emails must include your name, email address, phone number, and the name of your organization or interested party being represented. Questions related to this Prospectus must be sent via email by Wednesday, October 30, 2019 to Chad Tinney, Chief of Concessions at the email address below. If you plan to submit a proposal to this solicitation, you must notify Chad Tinney via email (chad_tinney@nps.gov) no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Monday, December 2, 2019. The Service will not accept proposals from entities that do not provide Notice of Intent to Propose on or before December 2, 2019. Any proposal, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by the Chief of Concessions, National Capital Region, National Park Service, 1100 Ohio Drive, Washington, DC 20242 by 4:00 p.m. EST by Monday, December 30, 2019 in order to be evaluated and considered for award of the Concession Contract.
