The National Park Service (NPS) anticipates issuing a Prospectus for one concession contract (CC-GRCA004-21) to provide guided trail rides and other related services at the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. The NPS expects to release the Prospectus for this opportunity in the late fall of 2019 after the services and associated facilities close for the season. The NPS will not conduct an official site visit; however, interested parties are encouraged to schedule a date to tour the associated facilities prior to concession operations closing for the season, which is scheduled to take place no later than October 15, 2019. The road into the Park from Jacob's Lake stays open on a seasonal basis and is subject to close based on weather and snowfall amounts. All interested parties must contact: Mark Rose, Concession Program Analyst, Grand Canyon National Park, at: 928-638-7749 at least 10-business days prior to their proposed visit to schedule. Failure to give prior notice may not allow adequate time to schedule access to the assigned areas. Please note that tours will not include the interior of employee housing, and the NPS requests that all interested parties be respectful of the existing concessioner's facilities and associated stock. Facilities associated with this contract include the following: • Bunkhouse (Horses Guide Cabin-EDR Asset # 35657) • Stable/Tack Room (Asset #63074) • Three feed sheds (Asset # 94174, 236946, 236949) • Grain Bin (Granary Asset # 237040) • Main Holding Corral (CC Hill Area Asset # 250712) • North Kaibab Trailhead Staging Corral (Asset # 250714) • Nine hookup sites (Norton Court Trailer Court Asset # 250715) Questions will not be addressed during the individual tours. When the Prospectus is released, it will detail the open period for written questions. The NPS will respond to questions received during the open period in writing to ensure all interested parties receive the same information. Please keep in mind that the Lodge at North Rim will also close for the season on October 15, and this prospectus is not related to the operations of the lodge which are under concession contract CC-GRCA002-08.
