Prospectus Inside Cover: Due date of prospectus is c... The National Park Service (NPS) has issued Amendment No. 3 to the Solicitation number CC-DENA02X-20. The purpose of the amendment is as follows: A. Prospectus Inside Cover: Due date of prospectus is changed from January 25 to February 28, 2019. B. Proposal Package (including Word version in appendix) has been amended and all changes are highlighted. The National Park Service (NPS) has provided Amendment No. 2 to the Solicitation to award up to four (4) concession contracts for Glacier Landing Air Taxi and Glacier Landing Air Tour Services within portions of Denali National Park and Preserve. The term of the Draft Contracts will be for ten (10) years with an estimated beginning date of January 1, 2020. The effective date of the Draft Contracts is subject to change prior to award if determined necessary by the Service. Amendment No. 2 extends the solicitation closing date to Thursday, February 28, 2019. This prospectus is issued to evoke the widest possible interest from qualified applicants in operating these concession services, and to inform interested parties of the requirements and conditions under which the operations may be conducted. The prospectus is issued under the authority of 36 CFR Part 51. Through this concession opportunity, the NPS seeks to ensure that visitors are provided with high quality commercially provided glacier landing air taxi and scenic air tour services within the 1980 park and preserve additions of Denali National Park and Preserve. The Park’s glacier landing air taxi and tour concessioners provide visitors the opportunity to walk in places that, until the start of aviation, were incredibly inaccessible. Glacier landing scenic air tours provide opportunities for inspiration and enhance the visitor’s experience through the sharing of a wide range of information, and glacier landing air taxi services help facilitate key visitor activities, such as mountaineering, hiking, camping, and skiing The Prospectus is available on the NPS website at: https://www.nps.gov/subjects/concessions/prospectuses.htm.
