The NPS anticipates the concession contract to be awarded in February of 2026 with a contract start date of October 1, 2026. _________________________________________________________________ The NPS has changed the Proposal Due date to October 15, 2025, by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time and posted Amendment 2 to the NPS Concessions website available at www.nps.gov/subjects/concessions/prospectuses.htm. This amendment includes Questions and Answers along with changes to the Prospectus. _________________________________________________________________ The NPS has changed the Proposal Due date to September 17, 2025, by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time and the Notification of Intent to Propose Due date to August 6, 2025, by 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. _________________________________________________________________ This solicitation replaces the previous solicitation with Notice ID CALO001. The National Park Service (NPS) issued a prospectus for the solicitation of offers for a 10-year concession contracts to provide Passenger Ferry Service to the South Core Banks and Shackleford Banks and Land Transportation on the South Core Banks Please note that all offers must be received by the NPS on September 17, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time in order to be evaluated and considered for an award of a concession contract. The prospectus describes the business opportunity and includes the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the concession contract. A Site Visit was scheduled for February 13, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. Questions were due February 21, 2025, and Notification of Intent to Propose must be received by August 6, 2025, via email no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time to Bill Stevens, Chief of Commercial Services for Interior Region 2, at bill_g_stevens@nps.gov. The prospectus along with helpful links and information including tips for submitting a competitive proposal that addresses due diligence and proposal content can be found at: www.nps.gov/subjects/concessions/prospectuses.htm Proposals to include the original signed transmittal letters must be received via the process explained in the Proposal Instructions no later than 3:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time on September 17, 2025. Please note that the original signed transmittal letter must be mailed to National Park Service, Commercial Services Office, 100 Alabama Street, S.W., Bldg 1924, 6th Floor, Mailroom, Atlanta, Georgia 30303. The remaining portion of the proposal will only be accepted electronically via the process explained in the Proposal Instructions.
