The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Oregon State Office is seeking responsible vendors to perform hazardous fuels treatment for juniper thinning, juniper thinning and lopping, juniper thinning and leave, handpiling and machine piling in various site conditions within remote locations of eastern Oregon, like Burns, John Day, and Vale. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement that shall be considered by the agency. The capability statement must include: 1. Identify the firm's number of permanent employees or crews. If crews are used, identify the crew composition. Also identify the type of equipment available to perform the work. 2. Identify the approximate or average acreage the firm can perform in one (1) week. 3. State the geographic areas (by county) in eastern Oregon the firm is capable of servicing. 4. Demonstrate the firm's ability to perform concurrent projects in distinctly different areas of eastern Oregon. 5. Elaborate on the firm's availability to complete projects during fire season (starts from around April to November). Responses must be received by 2:00 p.m. PT on 4/16/19 in order to be considered.
