This sources sought announcement issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Pacific Region, Office of Acquisitions is conducting market research to seek and identify potential Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE), Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) or other Small or Large businesses in ANCHORAGE, ALASKA capable of providing rental space for a (3) day conference to be held December 3-5, 2019. The facility must be able to accommodate 2000 participants for classroom training sessions, one-on-one meetings and multiple program breakout sessions, and other special events, all occurring simultaneously. The facility must have vendors on retainer that it allows into its facility for audiovisual, beverage service, and conference planning. The facility must also be able to provide equipment, logistics, registration, planning, etc. support to BIA staff prior to and during the conference. The North American Industry classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 531120 with a small business size of $38.5M. Product Supply code (PSC): X1AB, Lease/Rental of Conference Space and Facilities. The purpose of this market research is to survey prospective vendors in order to collect data, comments, and other information pertaining to this industry. Upon review of the responses to this sources sought notice, the BIA will determine if a set-aside (in full or in part), procurement through Full and Open Competition or Other Than Full and Open Competition is in their best interest. ISBEE and IEE set-asides take precedence. This sources sought is not an issuance of a solicitation, a request for proposal, invitation for bid, or request for quote and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought notice. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Respondents should ensure that their response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications and capability of performing the work. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this notice not later than Tuesday, close of business, August 20, 2019 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time to Jodi Zachary at jodi.zachary@bia.gov. All responses/capability statements should include a minimum of: company name, point of contact name, address, phone number, email, DUNS number with an indication of ACTIVE Systems for Award Management (SAM) registration, a one (1) page minimum summary which outlines the company's capabilities in regards this requirement, a statement that the company qualifies as an ISBEE or IEE in accordance with DIAR Clause 1452.280-4 (if applicable), and that the company is capable and will pursue this opportunity should it be an IEE/ISBEE set-aside(if applicable).
