The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), on behalf of the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) is conducting market research to identify potential sources to provide a full spectrum of onsite counseling and therapy related services for various BIE Schools located in Arizona, California, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Nevada, North Carolina, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming. A full listing of all BIE schools is available here: The primary recipient of these services will be special needs students attending BIE Native American Indian Schools. Services include but are not limited to: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counseling, Behavior Therapy, Reading and Dyslexia Therapy, Hearing Impairment Support Services, Psychological Evaluation Services, Vision Impaired Services, Diagnostics and Mental Health Counseling. Certification and licensure will be required in the state where the services are to be provided. Interested vendors should respond to Jacqueline.Wolfe@bia.gov by 5 pm ET on Monday, October 07, 2019 and provide the following information: 1. Capabilities Statement; 2. Geographical Area(s) where the vendor is able to provide resources for services requested; 3. Type of services that the vendor has provided to educational institutions in the past 5 years; 4. Type of business (large, small, 8(a), Indian-owned, Woman-owned, etc); 5. DUNS #; 6. Synopsis of the vendor's recruiting process (i.e. vetting, background check, testing, licensing and certification, etc); 7. Point of Contact for potential follow-up. BIA/BIE is contemplating a multiple award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) for future requirements where individual task orders will be competed based on established competitive pricing and proposed key personnel. BIA/BIE anticipates a five (5) year contract consisting of a base year plus four (4) one year options. Again, we are looking for vendors who are able to provide a wide range of support personnel for counseling and therapy services. We are very interested in Native American Indian owned vendors who are interested and able to provide these services. BIA/BIE may follow-up with interested vendors for additional market research.
