Presolicitation Notice Subject: Pre- Solicitation Notice for Solicitation No. 140R8123Q0049 Notice Type: Pre-Solicitation Notice Synopsis: This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice with the intent of synopsizing a proposed contract action prior to issuance of the solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or about July 10, 2023, posted to the SAM.gov website. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued. The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Region 8 Lower Colorado Basin is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for hardware parts required for UCM software migration to transition between the old Quantum system to the new M580 system. Items required are Schneider programmable logic cards and modules. Procurement action is being solicited as a full and open action. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code assigned to this project is 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing with a corresponding small business size standard of 1250 employees. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This requirement involves providing Schneider Electric¿s parts for replacement of Quantum Modicon programmable logic cards. The detailed requirements and/or specifications will be provided in the RFQ. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation be made to the lowest responsive responsible offeror that best meets the Government¿s need. The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available only through SAM.gov. All proposals, and other normal documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the quote, shall be in electronic medium. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted.
