PRE-SOLICITATION ¿ SYNOPSIS The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) intends to award a single Firm-fixed Price (FFP) award for the acquisition and implementation of a functional tunnel radio communication system. Reclamation is by trade an engineering firm that is a contemporary water management agency with a strategic plan outlining numerous programs, initiatives, and activities that will help the 17 Western States, Native American Tribes and others meet new water needs and balance the multitude of competing uses of water in the West. The organization has an office located on the Denver Federal Center, Denver, Colorado that serves a diverse set of approximately 1,000 employees. The organization has additional offices and site locations across the western states, a complete listing of our offices may be found at the following web address; https://www.usbr.gov/main/offices.html. This requirement will be solicited as total small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220; Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees. The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available through the SAM (www.sam.gov) website. The extent of the work will be described in the solicitation. As a result of this Pre-solicitation notice, the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, anticipates releasing the Request for Quotes (RFQ) on or about 11/26/2021 on SAM. The due date for receipt of quotes will be specified in the RFQ. This requirement will be solicited and awarded using the procedures outlined in FAR Part 12. The resulting contract will be a single award. Offerors are required to have an active record in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract award.
