07/16/2019 Questions and Answers: Q1. In the solicitation it says 42" rolls. Does this mean the printer must not print larger than 42" wide rolls? Is there a reason the customer would specifically want 42" wide capabilities? Industry standard width is 36" and I've never had a request for 42" wide. Would 40" wide capabilities be sufficient? Thank you for working with me on this. A1. The one we have (10 Years) now takes 42" rolls. I like the options this gives me. We mostly print on 36" roll of paper. I don' t want something larger than a 42" Roll printer. The most important part is that the printer must be expandable to 4 rolls. Q2. The specifications do not indicate monochrome or color. A2. Must be Color and monochrome. Q3. Request is either for 2 roll system expandable to 4 rolls or delivered with 4 roll capability. Which is preferred? A3. A printer with 2 roll for now that can be expanded to 4 rolls at a later date. Q4. Does your requester prefer Kip or Canon Oce? Either will meet your specification, monochrome or color. A4. No kip, Canon Oce' ColorWave 3500 also OK no brand identified, brand quoted must meet specifications. Q5. Please confirm no scanning capability is required. A5. No scanner at all.
