The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) has a requirement to obtain services for Lake Thunderbird State Parke located east of Norman, in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. The scope of this firm fixed price contract is for services as identified in the included Performance Work Statement (PWS). Solicitation number 140R6025R0007 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-01. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 115310 (Exception 1)- Forest Fire Suppression with an associated small business size standard of $34M. Phase 3 Norman Fuels Reduction Service The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Oklahoma-Texas Area Office, has a requirement for the mechanical removal of trees at Lake Thunderbird State Park located east of Norman in Cleveland County, Oklahoma to reduce the fuel accumulation. The work to be performed is described below. This notice is not a request for proposals/quotations and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. Description: The objective of this effort is to acquire services to mechanically masticate of live eastern red cedar trees in designated areas within Lake Thunderbird State Park for purposes of fuel reduction. The scope of the work is for approximately 3,720 acres, which includes a base acreage and optional acreage. NAICS And Size Standard: The NAICS code for this project is 115310 (Exception 2) with a small business size standard of $34 Million. Competition: Solicitation 140R6025R0007 is anticipated to be conducted as a total small business set aside. It is anticipated that this will be a firm fixed price, stand-alone contract with options. The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) is requesting information from interested parties on a Tree Removal, Fuel Reduction services contract. It is anticipated that this acquisition will be made under NAICS 115310, Support Activities for Forestry with a small business size standard of $11.5 Million. It is anticipated that this will be firm fixed price, stand-alone contract with one base period to service a 972 acre lot, and 4 optional acreage lots up to a total of approximately 3,710 acres for service. The period of performance for the contract is expected to be approximately 2.5 years from the date of award. This sources sought is to access the interest and capabilities of potential vendors, and determining potential set asides. Potential set asides include, but are not limited to: Woman-Owned, HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged, Economically-Disadvantaged, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises. Reclamation is requesting that vendors who are interested respond to this request for information with the following items: 1.
