Amendment to Pre-Solicitation announcement: This amendment is intended to advise interested parties that this remains to be a requirement for the Bureau of Reclamation, however, the acquisition timeframe has been adjusted. The anticipated period for the posting of the requirements solicitation has been adjusted to late Jan/Feb 2024. Site visits are anticipated for late March 2024. Solicitation proposals will be due the first week of May 2024. The Points of Contact (POCs) remain the same. The objective of this procurement is to acquire contractor performance via a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to support the Mt Elbert Pump Generating Plant (MTE) near Leadville, CO. Refer to Attachment A for additional pre-solicitation details and information regarding the procurement. POINTS-OF-CONTACT FOR QUESTIONS: The Points of Contact for this pre-solicitation are Monte Baird, email mbaird@usbr.gov and Jessica Busman, email: jbusman@usbr.gov. Any communications regarding this procurement must be made in writing and forwarded via email. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (SOLICITATION), AN INVITATION FOR BID (IFB), NOR IS IT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the requesting party to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, bids, or quotes. No award will be made as a result of this Notice. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Notice. This FedBizOps Notice is strictly for compliance with FAR Subpart 5.2. As a result of this Notice, the Government may issue a competitive solicitation; however, should such requirements materialize, no basis for claims against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to the Notice (e.g. use of such information as either part of its evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement).
