Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), the Bureau of Reclamation Eastern Colorado Area Office has a requirement for an installation of a new water meter for the domestic water line that feeds the ECAO/Flatiron yard. The contractor will install a new meter pit outside the gate, install a new water meter, and pothole and investigate three valves on the existing water line. The requirement of this contract will be performed at Loveland, Colorado location. The intent of this notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Reclamation intends to solicit from a single source (North Carter Lake Water District) due to the North Carter Lake Water District being the one domestic water distributor in the area, and they own the water line that feeds the ECAO yard. They will be upsizing the water meter that Reclamation currently has with North Carter Lake Water District and moving it to a location for better access to Reclamation. No other contractor can work on this due to North Carter Lake Water District owning the water line. Any information received from interested parties will only be considered solely for the basis of determining whether a competitive procurement can be conducted. Interested parties may submit a description of their capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to successfully meet the complete requirement.
