Pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), the Bureau of Reclamation Eastern Colorado Area Office has a requirement to monitor and maintain Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) hydrologic monitoring stations in conjunction with the State of Colorado for the Hydrological Program Support. The requirements of this contract will be performed at various locations throughout the state of Colorado. This contract will support the hydrographic service requirements assuring that stations provide accurate and timely environmental data and maintain SMS compatibility. These support service include both field work and office work that is typically performed in assuring reliable and quality environmental data from remote automatic data acquisition instrumentation. Successful completion of the work will require the contractor to collaborate with BOR personnel and access stations in areas which may be problematic by third parties. The intent of this notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Reclamation intends to solicit from a single source (Colorado Department of Natural Resources) due to the State Engineers¿ office possessing special authority to access all properties for the purpose of water rights administration. Any information received from interested parties will only be considered solely for the basis of determining whether a competitive procurement can be conducted. Interested parties may submit a description of their capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to successfully meet the complete requirement.
