MT - CFPP BRIDGE CRANE REHABILITATION For the full text of this solicitation, visit the FedConnect link and open the attachment(s) in FedConnect. The following is summary of work contemplated under this solicitation. Work is located at Canyon Ferry Powerplant approximately 17 miles east of Helena, Montana, in Lewis and Clark County. The work consists of removing and disposing of existing bridge crane motors and control equipment, electrical wiring, associated enclosures, trolley power rails; furnishing, installing, and testing new motors and variable frequency drive (VFD) stepless crane controls, a new grounded rail conductor, and trolley festoon power system; removing and disposing of hoist ropes; furnishing and installing new hoist ropes; performing system checkout and commissioning, operation and maintenance training and certified crane load tests; and certifying crane lifting devices. The work also includes performing a thorough non-destructive examination of the bridge crane components by a combination of methods including: visual inspection, magnetic particle inspection, ultrasonic testing inspection, and dye penetration testing. Servicing of all component lubrication is included in the work. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This requirement is solicited as a Request for Proposal (RFP) using the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation. The Bureau of Reclamation anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 METHOD OF SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS: See Section L of this Solicitation. BUSINESS SIZE COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS: This acquisition is solicited as full and open competition. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE: 238990.
