The Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin Region anticipates award of a contract for pumping of vault toilets and sewage holding tanks at Canyon Ferry Campgrounds and Day Use Sites, located in Lewis and Clark and Broadwater Counties, Montana. Work includes but is not limited to, 1) removal of all waste, including trash, from up to 60 vault toilet units, and 10 sewage holding tanks located at 19 separate sites within Canyon Ferry Recreation Area managed by the Bureau of Reclamation and, 2) transportation and disposal of waste materials at an approved facility in compliance with State Sanitation Regulations. Prospective offerors are encouraged to visit the performance site or otherwise familiarize themselves with the performance site to determine service and equipment requirements. Failure by prospective offerors to inspect the site will not relieve the offerors from the responsibility of properly estimating the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work in accordance with the Government¿s requirements. Site visit information will be included with the solicitation. The acquisition will be issued Total Small Business Set-Aside. The period of performance will be a base period with four one-year option periods. The Solicitation 140R6020Q0046 will be issued on or about May 15, 2020. The RFQ will be issued at https://beta.sam.gov/ and at FedConnect at https://www.fedconnect.net. Response dates for quotes is tentatively scheduled for June 15, 2020. Prospective contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the System for Award Management (SAM) database, accessed through https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM and must be actively registered in SAM to be eligible for award. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the beta.SAM.gov and FedConnect web sites for RFQ release and all subsequent amendments. Beta.SAM.gov and FedConnect also offer optional automatic notification service. The product service code is M1JZ and the NAICS code is 562991. All quotations shall be submitted via e-mail to sbruns@usbr.gov. No quotation or correspondence shall be accepted via FBO/FedConnect. The solicitation shall be downloaded at the above website; no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed.
