The Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin Region, intends to issue a Commercial Request for Quotes (RFQ) to provide invasive species weed treatment for the federal lands surrounding Lake Elwell, Tiber Dam, and Tiber Dike in Liberty and Toole Counties and will include weed, vegetation, and brush control to features identified by Reclamation personnel. Prospective offerors are encouraged to visit the performance site or otherwise familiarize themselves with the performance site to determine service and equipment requirements. Failure by prospective offerors to inspect the site will not relieve the offerors from the responsibility of properly estimating the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work in accordance with the Government¿s requirements. Site visit information will be included with the solicitation. The acquisition will be issued Total Small Business Set-Aside. The period of performance will be a base period with four one-year option periods. The Solicitation 140R6020Q0034 will be issued on or about April 2, 2020. The RFQ will be issued at https://beta.sam.gov/ and at FedConnect at https://www.fedconnect.net. Response dates for quotes is tentatively scheduled for May 4, 2020. Prospective contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the System for Award Management (SAM) database, accessed through https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM and must be actively registered in SAM to be eligible for award. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the beta.SAM.gov and FedConnect web sites for RFQ release and all subsequent amendments. Beta.SAM.gov and FedConnect also offer optional automatic notification service. The product service code is S208 and the NAICS code is 561730. All quotations shall be submitted via e-mail to sbruns@usbr.gov. No quotation or correspondence shall be accepted via FBO/FedConnect. The solicitation shall be downloaded at the above website; no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed.
