The following is summary of work contemplated under this solicitation. Work is located at Belle Fourche Reservoir and is 6 miles east and 3.5 miles north of the City of Belle Fourche in Butte County, South Dakota. The principal components of work to be performed include the following: The work consists of constructing approximately 1,150 linear feet of riprap revetment split between two sites located along the shoreline of Belle Fourche Reservoir at Middle Point. This shall include stripping existing topsoil, excavation/embankment at cut banks to form a 3:1 subgrade slope, installing geotextile on subgrade, placing stockpiled rock on the revetments, covering exposed slopes with 3-inches of topsoil, seed and mulch all disturbed areas. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This requirement is solicited as a/an Invitation for Bid (IFB) using the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 14 - Sealed Bidding. The Bureau of Reclamation anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: Between $250,000 and $500,000 METHOD OF SUBMISSION OF BIDS: See Section L of this Solicitation. BUSINESS SIZE COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS: This acquisition is solicited as total small business set-aside. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE: 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction).
