PURPOSE: The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Four Corners Construction Office (FCCO), is issuing this pre-solicitation notice for a contemplated requirement: Reach 22B Circuit Breakers. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations as a total small business set-aside. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a competitive solicitation for this requirement. Based on market research it was determined that there were sufficient qualified small businesses with sufficient capacity to perform this requirement. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: The principal components of the work are listed under the requirement description below: The Bureau of Reclamation, Four Corners Construction Office (FCCO), has a need for 2 new circuit breakers. Supply 2 new breakers. Refurbished breakers will not be allowed. 1.Circuit Breaker #1 Manufacturer: ABB ADVAC 15.12.25 DRAWOUT Manufacturer Serial Number: 1VC1BL00035303 Cat# Configuration Code: AA4G1AA88X000U0 Quantity: 1 2.Circuit Breaker #2 Manufacturer: ABB AMVAC 27.12.25 DRAWOUT Manufacturer Serial Number: 1VC1BL00037938 Cat # Configuration Code: MA4Q11A000000U0 Quantity: 1 LOCATION OF THE WORK: The supplies will be delivered FOB Destination to the following address: 1235 La Plata Highway, Farmington, NM. NAICS AND SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 335313 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. PSC CODE: 5925, Circuit Breakers. COMPETITION: Solicitation 140R4023Q0028 is anticipated to be conducted as a total small business set-aside using a Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A free, electronic copy of the solicitation is anticipated to be available on APPROXIMATELY March 15, 2023, at https://www.sam.gov/. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM, www.sam.gov): The System for Award Management (SAM) is a recently implemented Federal Government owned-and-operated FREE web site that consolidates the capabilities in Central Contractor Registration (CCR)/Federal Register (FedReg), Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA), and Excluded Parties List System (EPLS). Offerors must be successfully registered in SAM in order to be considered for a government contract award.
