PURPOSE: The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region intends to solicit for offers for wastewater testing services for the Bureau of Reclamation, Flaming Gorge Field Division. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Parts 12 and 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations as a small business set aside. Based on market research, it was determined that there were enough qualified small businesses to perform the work contained under this solicitation. The resulting contract will be a performance based, firm fixed priced, type contract. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The principal components of the work are listed under the project description below: The objective of this contract is to acquire a Utah Certified Environmental Laboratory contractor to provide services to analyze water samples collected by Reclamation employees from Flaming Gorge Dam¿s wastewater system. The contractor will need to meet all hold times to be technically acceptable. NAICS AND SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 541380 Testing Laboratories with a small business size standard of $16.5 million. The PSC code is B553 Special Studies/Analysis-Communication. SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The release date for the final and formal solicitation number 140R4022Q0044 is anticipated for June 2022.
