PURPOSE: The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region intends to solicit for offerors for wastewater testing services for the Bureau of Reclamation, Glen Canyon Field Division. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Parts 12 and 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations as a small business set aside. Based on market research, it was determined that there were enough qualified small businesses to perform the work contained under this solicitation. The resulting contract will be a performance based, firm fixed priced, type contract. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The principal components of the work are listed under the project description below: The objective of this contract is to acquire an Arizona Certified Environmental Laboratory contractor to provide services to analyze water samples collected by Reclamation employees from Glen Canyon Dam¿s power plant drainage system and wastewater treatment plant. The contractor will need to meet all hold times to be technically acceptable. NAICS AND SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 541380 Testing Laboratories with a small business size standard of $16.5 million. The PSC code is B553 Special Studies/Analysis-Communication. SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The release date for the final and formal solicitation number 140R4022Q0040 is anticipated for mid-April 2022.
