The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Albuquerque Area Office, Brackish Groundwater National Desalination Research Facility (BGNDRF) has an upcoming requirement for the replacement of a HVAC Building Automated System (BAS) Building Control Unit (BCU). The applicable NAICS code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. The purpose of the procurement is to replace the current BAS BCU which is at serviceable life and not functioning properly with a new BAS BCU and associated bridge connections. All components and supplies must be for commercial office and laboratory service. The procurement will ensure the newly installed BAS BCU, including bridge connections, are adjusted for proper operation and functionality and that Government personnel are provide proper system orientation and training. The obsolete BAS BCU will be disposed of according to local, state, and federal environmental requirements. The procurement is intended to use a brand name justification for Trane, Inc. brand products and services in accordance with FAR 13.106-1. All offerors must also be registered to perform services under the specified NAICS code, and it must reflect accordingly on their SAM profile prior to contract award. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations. The requirement is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.
