The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Elephant Butte Field Division (EBFD) has a need to replace the Alternating Current (AC)/Direct Current (DC) Distribution Panels and 452 Breakers in the power plant. The AC/DC Distribution Panels and 452 Breakers at Elephant Butte Power Plant are over forty years old and replacement parts such as the various breakers are no longer available. The Contractor shall provide all the necessary expertise, labor, tools, and test equipment to furnish, install, and replace the outdated AC/DC distribution panel boards and retro-fit the outdated 452 breakers.
