The vendor shall handle both supply and delivery to the required location. 8. The Bureau of Reclamation shall provide equipment and staff necessary for offloading for up to three weeks straight and 5 days a week. 9. Responsibility and Inspection: Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and Quality Control (QC). The contractor shall coordinate the exact dates and times of delivery with the Reclamation, at least one week in advance. The contractor shall ensure that the total for all amounts ordered and delivered does not exceed the amount noted in the contract line item. 10. The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), Upper Colorado Regional Office is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to identify potential firms who are certified Small Business prime construction contractors. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project will be a Firm-Fixed Price commercial supply item contract. USBR requires materials to construct a protective embankment along the Bill Williams River near Planet, Arizona. Materials shall include 3,873 linear feet of NZ14 (or approved equal) hot rolled steel sheet pile, four 90-degree corners (joints), and one 45-degree corner (joint). Reclamation crews shall be responsible for offloading, foundation preparation, footing construction, and erection The contractor will be responsible for delivery to the location identified near the Central Arizona Project canal on Shae Road. (Latitude - 34°10'46.93"N) and (Longitude 114° 3'3.69"W). This location is approximately 18 miles east of Parker, AZ. Shae Road is paved to the delivery location. SMALL BUSINESS CERTIFICATION WITH THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA): The Government is only interested in responses from small businesses that are capable of executing this potential contract as a prime contractor. Please identify your federally designated small business category or categories. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 425310 - Metal Service Centers and other Metal Merchant Wholesalers, the Small Business Standard Size is 200 employees and the anticipated magnitude of this project is $700,000 and $950,000. The Non-Manufacturer Rule applies to this requirement.
