Pre-Solicitation Notice Power Utility Pole Installation This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice with the intent of synopsizing a proposed contract action prior to issuance of the solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or about December 9, 2024, posted to SAM.gov website. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued. The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Basin, Multi-Species Conservation Program (MSCP), has a requirement for the installation approximately 150 utility poles along a 10.5 mile stretch in and around Topock Marsh, in Mohave County, Arizona. This requirement will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this project is 237130, Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction with a corresponding small business size standard of $45M. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This requirement will be solicited and awarded using the methos outlined in FAR Part 36, Construction Contracts and FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The Government contemplates award of one firm fixed price contract. The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available only through Contract Opportunities at www.SAM.gov. All proposals, and other documents required for proposal submittal, including amendments to the proposal, shall be submitted electronically. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted.
