PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Lower Colorado River Backwater Mapping This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice with the intent of synopsizing a proposed contract action prior to issuance of the solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your quotes will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or about June 5, 2024. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued. The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Basin, Multi-Species Conservation Program (MSCP), has a need for bathymetric and associated data collection of backwaters along the Colorado River from Davis Dam downstream to Morelos Dam (approximately 240 river miles). There are approximately 460 individual backwaters to be mapped ranging in size from approximately 0.02 acres to approximately 4,000 acres. The purpose of this requirement is for professional services to collect bathymetry data to support efficient planning and implementation of future projects along the Colorado River. This requirement is 100% Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this project is 541370, Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) Services with a corresponding small business size standard of $16.5M. This acquisition will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 36.6 Architect Engineer Services. The Government contemplates award of one firm-fixed price contract but reserves the right to award none at all. The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available only through Contract Opportunities at www.SAM.gov. All proposals, and other documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the proposal, shall be submitted electronically. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted.
