PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Yuma Meadows Conservation Area (YMCA) Fence Repair, Yuma, AZ This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice with the intent of synopsizing a proposed contract action prior to issuance of the solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your quotes will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or about January 30, 2024. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued. The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Basin has a requirement to replace approximately 3,500 linear feet of 7-ft high, 3 strand barb wire chain link fence fabric, not to include the existing fence posts, around the western perimeter of the YMCA site, situated on the California side of the river between Imperial and Laguna Dams; roughly 12.5 miles northeast of Yuma County, AZ and 8 miles Southwest of Martinez Lake, AZ. The Contractor will be required to furnish all the labor, tools, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary for removal and replacement of approximately 3,500 linear feet of 7-ft high, 3-strand barb wire link fence fabric. This requirement is restricted as a 100% HUBZone Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this project is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, with a corresponding small business size standard of $19M. This acquisition will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government contemplates award of one firm-fixed price purchase order but reserves the right to award none at all. The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available only through Contract Opportunities at www.SAM.gov. All quotes, and other documents required for the quote submittal, including amendments to the quote, shall be submitted electronically. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for February 6, 2024. Time and meeting location to be provided with the issuance of the solicitation.
