The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Region 8 Lower Colorado Basin is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to replace the Facility Management System - Motion Control Engineering Elevator Equipment to monitor the status of the elevators from a single location. Procurement action is being solicited as a full and open action. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code assigned to this project is 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing with a corresponding small business size standard of 1250 employees. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13 and 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Services. This requirement involves purchasing a Facility Management System - Motion Control Engineering Elevator Equipment to replace PCs and updated software. The detailed requirements will be provided in the RFQ. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation to be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available only through SAM.gov. All proposals, and other normal documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the quote, shall be in electronic medium. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted. The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Basin has a requirement to replace the complete Facility Management Control Motion Engineering System. The complete system includes monitoring PCs, Software, and configuration installation to replace the obsolete version. Reclamation currently uses MCE software for monitoring the Lower Colorado Dams elevators including Parker Dam. The Motion Control Engineering software provides monitoring features for elevators, showing models, locations, and elevator status. The software will provide the engineers the ability to monitor the status of all the elevators from a single location as well as providing a reporting feature. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed purchase order. Interested contractors who can meet the requirements stated above should respond through submission of a capability statement.
