This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for acquisition planning purposes and no formal solicitation for this requirement exists at this time. All businesses, regardless of size; capable of providing these items are invited to respond to this announcement and submit a capability statement for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine a firm¿s previous experience performing similar work. The capability statements will be reviewed and used to determine an appropriate procurement strategy, in particular whether a set-aside is warranted or an alternate procurement strategy. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or otherwise pay for information solicited. PROPOSED PROJECT: The Department of Interior Region 8, Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Hoover Dam has a requirement to pump 7 vault toilets at various locations around Hoover Dam. 1. Principal Components of Work The work requirement is to provide materials, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary collect waste in accordance with stated pick-up schedule and disposal of same at a state at an approve location outside the boundaries of the Lower Colorado Dams Office (Hoover Dam). The Contractor shall be responsible for paying any and all required fees for such disposal of the waste. Responsible sources are welcome to submit a capability statement on or before July 17, 2023. Submittals will be reviewed and considered by Reclamation during the solicitation planning process. Your package should include the following information: 1. Capability statement - showing recent experience in supplying this equipment or similar in scope and complexity. 2. Provide your business name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address. 3. Provide your business size & type: SB, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, etc. All firms should identify whether or not they are a small business or other than small business in accordance with the size standard for The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) being considered for this project, which is 562991¿ Septic Tank Related Services and the Small Business Size Standard is $9 million dollars. 4. The capability statement shall address the offerors capability to perform under a contract of this magnitude and complexity. Provide a list of ALL RELEVANT projects (projects of a similar size, scope, and complexity of the proposed project are considered relevant), either Government or commercial, performed within the last three (3) years, with a brief description of the project; contract number, project title, dollar amount, timeliness of performance, and customer satisfaction. Include the customer's name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and points of contact with phone numbers. Indicate whether or not you were the prime contractor, and, if you were a subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact information for the prime contractor. Include the percentage of self-performed work, how the work was accomplished, and the performance rating for the work. 5. In the capability statement advise if a site visit or pre-proposal conference would be helpful for this requirement. The information presented in this announcement does not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought. This notice is designed to locate responsible sources that have an interest and have the ability to supply the item described herein.
