PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Janitorial Services at Hoover Dam This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice with the intent of synopsizing a proposed contract action prior to issuance of the solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or about February 23, 2021. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued. The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Basin, Lower Colorado Dams Office, has a requirement for janitorial services at Hoover Dam. Hoover Dam facilities are located on the Colorado River approximately 8 miles northeast of Boulder City and 32 miles from Las Vegas in Clark County Nevada and Mohave County, Arizona. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide janitorial and related services. The performance period for this requirement is one base year with four one-year options. The estimated start date is August 1, 2021. This requirement is limited to eligible 8(a) participants only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this project is 561720, Janitorial Services with a corresponding small business size standard of $18M. This acquisition will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance will be a base year with four 1-year option periods. Proposals will be evaluated on price and non-price factors. The solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation will be available only through the Beta Sam website at (www.betasam.gov). All proposals, and other documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the proposal, shall be submitted electronically. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted.
