(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued, except to facilitate the submission of electronic quotes through FedBizOpps. (ii) To facilitate electronic quote submissions through FedBizOpps, a request for quote (RFQ No. DOIRFBO190014) is being issued subsequent to this combined solicitation/synopsis. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-95, dated 01/19/2017. (iv) This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, the small business size standard for NAICS Code 238990 is $15 Million. (v) The Performance Work Statement provides more detailed information about the requirement and is attached to the RFQ. (All attachments may also be found at www.fedconnect.net, by searching for the RFQ number DOIRFBO190014, using the reference number search criteria, under "Search Public Opportunities Only"). (vi) The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement to purchase scaffolding equipment. Information about the requirement and the Statement of Work is attached to the RFQ. (viii) FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items - addendum replaces the term ¿offer¿ with ¿quote¿ within the provision at 52.212-1. In addition to the requirements of the Instructions to Offerors - Competitive Acquisitions provision of this solicitation, each quoter shall submit a quote in accordance with the instructions contained in this provision. (A) GENERAL QUOTATION INSTRUCTIONS (1) Vendor shall submit a firm-fixed price quote for Line item 0001. (2) Quote shall include all the costs to complete the requirements in the Statement of Work. (3) Submit the following information: Dun and Bradstreet Number Systems (DUNS): ______________ Contractor E-mail Address: ______________________________ (ix) Determination of award will be based on the lowest price from a responsible vendor whose quote conforms to the RFQ. (xv) All questions shall be submitted via email to tlwirth@usbr.gov no later than Thursday, February 28th, 2019 at 4:00 pm, PST, local time to tlwirth@usbr.gov. (xvi) Quotes are due no later than March 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm, PST, local time. To tlwirth@usbr.gov. Responsible quoters are requested to submit a quote for this requirement.
