This is a Sources Sought for small businesses capable of providing cultural resource investigation services for the Newlands Project in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Activities may include but are not limited to environmental compliance for archaeological and architectural history investigations; cultural resources archival research and records reviews; field surveys; resource recordation; reporting; evaluations of cultural resources to determine eligibility for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (National Register); collection and processing of global positioning system (GPS)/geographic information system (GIS) data; and Grazing Management Plans on 25,676 acres of Reclamation land as described in the attached draft performance work statement. This notice is being issued to help determine the availability of qualified small businesses technically capable of meeting the governments requirement and to determine the method of acquisition, including whether a small business socioeconomic set-aside is possible.
