KBAO Garbage Removal and Disposal Services THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE This announcement serves as a notice of intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 13.106. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562111, which is $47.0 million. This is the only announcement that will be issued prior to award. The US Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), California Great Basin Region, intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis for Waste Management Services to the Waste Management of Oregon, Inc. The anticipated period of performance shall be 1-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods. The City of Klamath Falls currently has a franchise agreement with Waste Management, Inc. to provide waste disposal services to residents and businesses in the Klamath Falls area. Under this contract, Waste Management will collect, transport, and dispose of solid waste from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation Klamath Basin Area Office on a scheduled basis. The place of performance will be at 6600 Washburn Way, Klamath Falls, Oregon 97603. Firms which can provide the services above must submit written notice to the Contracting Officer and must provide evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirement. This is not a request for competitive quotations. All responses received by the due date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
