This is NOT a request for proposals, quotations, or bids. The Department of the Interior, Interior Region 10 ¿ California Great Basin, requests responses from any vendor capable of providing Cargill Industrial Mill Salt or equal. This notice is being issued to help determine the availability of qualified businesses technically capable of meeting the Government requirement and to determine the method of acquisition, including whether a small business social-economic set-aside is possible. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals or quotes. No award will be made as a result of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the respondents to this notice. The notice is for research and information purposes only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 325998 and the associated small business size standard is 500 employees. All businesses with the capability and availability to furnish the requirement under the applicable NAICS code are invited to submit a response to this notice. The information requested is: 1. Company name, address, DUNS number, and point of contact name and email address; 2. Business size and small business size classification if applicable (e.g. 8(a), HubZone, Veteran Owned, Woman Owned, etc.); 3. Information that would demonstrate that your business has the capability and resources to meet the specifications of the requirement; and 4. Your intent to submit a quote if a solicitation is issued. All responses to this Sources Sought notice shall be submitted electronically (via email) to Joe Molina at joemolina@usbr.gov no later than Wednesday, August 4th at 12:00 a.m. PST. The information provided in this announcement is the only information the Government has available at this time.
