The Bureau of Reclamation intends to award a sole source contract for Construction Support Services at the Friant/Kern Canal to Stantec Consulting Services Inc. As the Designer of Record, Stantec is the only qualified firm to provide design support services for the construction of Phase 1 of the Project due to their expertise, experience, and proprietary knowledge of the Project. Firms believing, they can provide the services must provide a written capability statement with supporting evidence that demonstrates the respondent¿s ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or not. Responses are due by 07/21/2021 and should include: Company name, address, DUNS number, and point of contact and information that would demonstrate your capability to satisfy this requirement.
