This is a sources sought notice and is for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This is NOT a request for proposals, quotations, or bids. The Department of the Interior, Interior Region 10 ¿ California Great Basin, requests responses from small businesses, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), HUBZONE and/or Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) contractors capable of performing operations, maintenance and repair activities for the following facilities: ¿ Columbia Main Pumping Plant ¿ Columbia Diversion Channel ¿ Columbia Delivery Canal ¿ Structures on Columbia Canal ¿ Columbia Re-lift Pump Plants A, B, C, North and C South ¿ Pipelines located on discharges of Plants A, C, North and C South ¿ Columbia Mowry pumping Plant and Pipeline ¿ Former Mitigation Lands Trust Property (MLT), Former Southern California Edison Property (SCE) ¿ Options for Newly Acquired Areas ¿ Portions of Lopes, Central California Irrigation District, DJP Farm, LLC, BB Limited, Farmers, Wonderful, Baker Brothers and Baker Farming Properties Work includes preventive maintenance work and inspections, and corrective actions noted during preventive maintenance inspections; emergency repairs and maintenance; and non-emergency repairs and maintenance. The operations, maintenance, and repair activities shall be performed on the above mentioned facilities and any associated feature such as, but not limited to, roads, fences, drainage channels, pumps, signs, gates, bridges, buildings, and all associated mechanical and electrical equipment. Also included is weed, rodent abatement, emergency repairs, minor construction, and other items or services necessary to provide a complete and usable system. This notice is being issued to help determine the availability of qualified small businesses technically capable of meeting the Government requirement and to determine the method of acquisition, including whether a small business social-economic set-aside is possible. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals or quotes. No award will be made as a result of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the respondents to this notice. The notice is for research and information purposes only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 221310 and the associated small business size standard is $30 Million. All businesses with the capability and availability to perform the requirement under the applicable NAICS code are invited to submit a response to this notice. The information requested is: 1. Company name, address, DUNS number, and point of contact name and email address; 2. Business size and small business size classification if applicable (e.g. 8(a), HubZone, Veteran Owned, Woman Owned, etc.); 3. Information that would demonstrate that your business has the capability and resources to meet the specifications of the requirement; and 4. Your intent to submit a quote if a solicitation is issued. All responses to this Sources Sought notice shall be submitted electronically (via email) to Joe Molina at joemolina@usbr.gov no later than Thursday, November 19th at 10:00 a.m. PST. The information provided in this announcement is the only information the Government has available at this time.
